Looks like the dizziness that sidelined Kevin Plawecki  for two games last weekend has not completely subsided.

The Mets rookie catcher is out of the lineup again on Tuesday as the team begins their home stand against the San Francisco Giants.

Anthony Recker will be behind the plate tonight as Plawecki rests.

Manager Terry Collins told reporters that Plawecki had been treated by team doctors last weekend and was given medication for a viral infection.

Travis d’Arnaud was expected to be activated on Wednesday, but Collins said they may delay his return until Thursday because he is flying back to New York tonight.

Plawecki has had bouts with vertigo twice before, having missed time with the condition last summer while with Triple-A Las Vegas.

Replacing Plawecki in the lineup tonight against the Arizona Diamondbacks is Anthony Recker, and Eric Campbell will essentially be his backup according to Collins.

Since his promotion to replace Travis d’Arnaud, Plawecki is batting .208 with a .248 on-base percentage, two home runs and 13 RBI in 113 plate appearances.
