Andrew Marchand of the New York Post reports that Keith Herandez and SNY are finalizing a new three-year, $2.4 million contract for him to stay in the Mets’ booth.

Hernandez, 66, is expected to be on the SNY broadcast for 110 games and make somewhere between $800-$850K in 2020.

The former Mets’ first baseman was a key piece of the 1986 Mets and will continue to work alongside another member of that team in Ron Darling as well as Gary Cohen.
