Former Mets shortstop Jose Reyes was arrested in Maui on Halloween night for allegedly grabbing his wife by the throat and shoving her into a sliding glass door, according to Chris Tanaka of Hawaii News Now.
Reyes, now with the Colorado Rockies, was arrested at the Four Seasons Hotel after security called police.

Major League Baseball and the MLB Players Association recently agreed to a new policy governing domestic violence by players. And it looks like Jose Reyes situation might be the first player that falls under this jurisdiction.
According to some of the language in the agreement, players who violate the policy can be suspended even while charges are pending. Reyes, 32, is currently out on bail.
