Infielders Jeff McNeil and Joey Wendle are dealing with injuries, though neither is considered serious, according to reports. Manager Carlos Mendoza said McNeil has left biceps soreness and will be shut down from hitting for a few days, per Tim Healey of Newsday.

Wendle has right shoulder soreness, but should be ready for his spring debut toward the end of next week, according to MLB.com’s Anthony DiComo.

The Mets will reassess McNeil on Tuesday, Healey reported. He hasn’t undergone an MRI because the team didn’t think it was serious enough to warrant it. He will continue to work on his defense.

McNeil and Wendle join the list of Mets who have recently hit the injured list. Max Kranick recently injured his hamstring and is going to miss significant time, and Kodai Senga was shut down in February after dealing with arm fatigue.

Healey also reported that Brandon Nimmo will make his spring debut tomorrow and Harrison Bader on Tuesday. The Mets play Miami in Jupiter today at 1:10 p.m. ET.
