With all the various injuries that have struck the team of late, I wanted to put together a brief summary of all the players that are out or ailing along with their latest updated information.

Yoenis CespedesLeft Hamstring
Has sat out the last two games with cramping in his left hamstring and will not play against the Nationals on Sunday. “He spent the majority of the game on Saturday in the trainer’s room and some of it in the massage room trying to get this thing worked out,” manager Terry Collins said. “We went to him in the seventh inning and he said he didn’t think he could hit. ”

Travis d’ArnaudRight Wrist Contusion
Has appeared in last two games as a pinch hitter and it is unclear if he will be available to start on Sunday against the Nationals. Yesterday d’Arnaud said it still hurts him when he tries to throw the ball.

Asdrubal CabreraSore Right Hamstring
He pinch hit on Friday and walked and immediately was lifted for a pinch runner because of his sore hamstring. He was back in the lineup on Saturday, hitting third, playing short. He had one of the Mets’ two hits. Cabrera said hamstring became an issue three days ago reaching for a ground ball up the middle.

Lucas DudaHyperextended Left Elbow
Was placed on the 10-day disabled list due to a painful left elbow. He had an MRI on Friday and the team says there is no timetable for his return.

Wilmer FloresKnee Infection
Was placed on the 10-day disabled list due to an infection in his knee. Team doctors said Flores will spend at least the weekend in the hospital as he remains on a IV antibiotics battling the infection.

Seth LugoUCL Tear In Right Elbow
Was placed on the 10-day disabled list with a tear of the ulnar collateral ligament in his right elbow and is expected to be sidelined until the end of May. Pitching coach Dan Warthen told Kristie Ackert of the New York Daily News that Lugo threw on Wednesday without any issues.

Steven MatzLeft Elbow Irritation
Was placed on the 10-day disabled list with elbow irritation and team doctors said they found nothing wrong. However Matz disputed that diagnosis and announced he had a strained flexor tendon which frustrated team officials. Matz threw on Wednesday, but it’s unknown when he’ll be able to pitch again.

Brandon NimmoStrained Right Hamstring
Was placed on the 10-day disabled list to begin the season with a right hamstring injury. He was initially expected to return towards the beginning of May. However he has yet to begin a rehab assignment.

David WrightRight Shoulder Impingement
He was recently transferred to the 60-day disabled list and is still a long way from playing in games. He participated in pregame drills on the field and took batting practice on Wednesday. Manager Terry Collins said Wright played catch for the first time in two or three weeks, but he is still trying to rebuild his arm strength.
