Brace yourself, Mets fans. The much anticipated debut of top prospect Amed Rosario could be right around the corner.

According to Jon Heyman of FanRag Sports on Twitter, Rosario could be up in a week or so, shortly after the trade deadline.

The 21-year-old just recently returned from a bruised index finger and a subsequent hospital stint for a stomach illness, but returned to Triple-A Las Vegas’ lineup on Monday.

On the season, Rosario is hitting .329/.367/.473 in 88 games for the 51s.

MLB Pipeline and Baseball America each released its 2017 mid-season Top 100 Prospects with Rosario pulling in at No. 2 and No. 4 in all of baseball, respectively.

With Asdrubal Cabrera likely to be moved and Neil Walker‘s name being floated around, the middle of the infield could be Rosario at short and the white hot Jose Reyes at second until the conclusion of the season.
