Tim Healey of Newsday reports that Sandy Alderson will remain as the Mets team president for the 2022 season.

It was reported last week by Jon Heyman that Alderson signed a two-year contract when he returned to the Mets last offseason.

The Mets are expected to target big-names this offseason like Theo Epstein and Billy Beane to become the president of baseball operations, but those types seem unlikely to come to the Mets and report to Alderson.
