On behalf of all of us here at Metsmerized Online, we would like to thank all of our dedicated readers and contributors for your continued support in what has been a challenging year, to say the least. The MMO community would not be what it is today if not for your passion and love for the game of baseball and the New York Mets – and we certainly do not take that for granted.
It has been a personal thrill for me to get to know the team here and interact with some of you over the last several months. The spirited debate and differing opinions are really what makes MMO such a special place. Everyone has the same end goal – but when you have thousands of general managers in the comments thread, you often have thousands of different ways to get there, and that’s okay!
I can’t help but think that Thanksgiving is placed perfectly on the baseball calendar. A much-needed pause after a long season for all of us to reflect on what we’re grateful for before kicking off the winter meetings and making our wish lists for 2024. I know we all can’t wait to see what shiny new free agents we’ll have to cheer for (and scream at next year) – but for at least one day – let’s make sure we take the time to reflect on all the important things we have in our lives that we’re genuinely grateful for.
