Dwight Gooden tweeted again saying he made a mistweet and while he would love to work with the Mets pitching staff, he is currently not scheduled to do so. He is slated to work with a Japanese minor league team St. Petersburg, Florida.

Former Mets ace Dwight Gooden announced on Twitter this morning that he will be working with Mets pitchers in Spring Training this year.
The right-hander has been very vocal in the past about how much he believes in the Mets pitching staff, and he appears to be interested in having a hands-on interest in working with them.
The Mets could not ask for much more in terms of a mentor with these guys as “Doc” was as great of a pitcher as anyone in his prime.
His 1985 season rivaled some of the best single-seasons ever as he finished that season with a 24-4 record with a 1.53 ERA, 0.965 WHIP, 2.13 FIP, and 268 strikeouts in 276.2 innings. He also finished the season with 16 complete games.
For his career, Gooden posted a 3.51 ERA, 1.256 WHIP, and 3.33 FIP while striking out 2,293 batters and winning 194 games.
