Mets fan, an all new episode is here!

Mike and I recap another series win for the Amazin’s in DC, discuss the team’s early season lack of power, preview the series ahead against Jarred Kelenic and the Mariners, and give you the latest standouts from the Mets minors.

Can the Mets continue to win games without a power surge from the middle of the order? Mike has some worries, but the manager isn’t afraid of playing musical chairs with who’s hot at the moment:

“You have to wonder If Buck [Showalter] keeps moving these guys in and out as they struggle, which I think he’s done a pretty good job of so far. It’s pretty crazy to have 22 wins and be thinking about, “Well we have McNeil, Nimmo, and Alonso who have been very good offensively, but after that we’re talking about these little question marks of who’s going to do what.” They’re still getting timely hitting for the most part and still scoring runs when they need them, but I’m not sure they can sustain it without some power for an entire summer.”
