There has been no news or report about this from any Mets related sources or from a team release.
Last thing I heard was from Collins yesterday saying that Frank Francisco has no structural damage and does not need surgery, but might be shotdown for the season.
Francisco is owed $6.5 million for the 2013 season.
Developing story… Or non-story… I will advise….
UPDATED 12:30 – That didn’t take long. Adam Rubin just reported after speaking to a team source that Francisco will only miss the rest of this season and that the MLB Network report is untrue. But you cant believe anything Rubin says, so I’m thinking Francisco’s career is actually over… 😉
