There may not be baseball happening in the states, but there is baseball happening in Korea, and now thanks to ESPN, we will all be able to watch it. Well, some of it at least.

ESPN has announced that they have reached an agreement with Eclat Media Group and will be broadcasting one KBO game every Tuesday through Sunday, adding up to six games per week. They will also cover the KBO postseason.

The games will feature commentary in English from ESPN broadcasters such as Eduardo Perez and Karl Ravech, who will all be remote. The games will air live, which means that many late nights or early mornings are ahead of us, baseball fans.

The schedule is as follows:

  • Tues. May 5: Samsung Lions vs. NC Dinos (1 a.m. EST)
Wed. May 6: Doosan Bears vs. LG Twins (5:30 a.m. EST)
  • Thurs. May 7: NC Dinos vs. Samsung Lions (5:30 a.m. EST)
  • Fri. May 8: KIA Tigers vs. Samsung Lions (5:30 a.m. EST)
  • Sat. May 9: LG Twins vs. NC Dinos (4 a.m. EST)
  • Sun. May 10: LG Twins vs. NC Dinos (1 a.m. EST)

The games are being played with any fans in the stands and players are tested prior to every game. If there is a positive coronavirus test, the player will be quarantined immediately and that player’s stadium will be shut down for a thorough 48-hour cleaning process.

There are many former MLB players currently playing in the KBO such as Mike Wright, Tyler Saladino, Ben Lively, David Buchanan, Aaron Altherr, Drew Gagnon, Chris Flexen, and Seunghwan Oh.
