New York Mets manager Mickey Callaway told reports on Friday night that right-handed relievers Eric Hanhold and Tim Peterson will the first group of September call ups on Saturday.

Hanhold, acquired in the Neil Walker trade, will need to be added to the Mets 40-man roster. The tall righty has a heavy sinker and sharp slider.

He has a 4.20 ERA, 1.27 WHIP, 2.90 FIP and 10.4 K/9 in 49.1 innings this year over four levels including Double-A Binghamton and Triple-A Las Vegas. The 24-year-old is a strong groundball pitcher that has allowed only two home runs this season.

Peterson, 27, has a 7.54 ERA and 1.46 WHIP in 22.2 major league innings this season for the Mets.
