Last night, during the All Star Game at Citi Filed, a Yankee fan decided to act on a dare from his Twitter followers urging him to run out onto the field.
And the 18-year old wasted no time hopping over the 3 1/2 foot barrier and dashed for second base donning his Robinson Cano t-shirt.
Security was on him like white on rice and the first one to reach him body slams the kid to the ground while six other security personnel quickly surround him and get him up to his feet.
They took him off to the holding area in Citi Field until the police arrived and arrested him.
Said the Yankee fan as he was led into the NYPD van, “Hey, somebody wrote ‘K-Rod was here!’ on the holding cell wall.”
