
Rawlings Sports announced their 2019 finalists for the Gold Glove Awards at each position for the American and National Leagues on Thursday afternoon. The Mets were shutout for the fourth straight year.
The last time the Mets had a finalist was Curtis Granderson in 2015 and the last winner was Juan Lagares in 2014.
For the seventh consecutive season, the SABR defensive index will account for approximately 25% of the award process, along with votes from managers and coaches.
