According to Joel Sherman of the New York Post, the Mets are planning to recall both Dilson Herrera and Travis d’Arnaud for Wednesday night’s game against the Giants at Citi Field.

D’Arnaud has been out since April 19, when he fractured his right hand getting hit by a pitch from Marlins reliever A.J. Ramos. In 11 games up to that point, d’Arnaud was hitting .317/.356/.537 with a double, a triple, two home runs, and ten RBI.

Herrera has been away from the team since May 15, when he fractured the tip of his middle finger during batting practice. Herrera, who was rated by Baseball America as the 46th-best prospect in baseball heading into this season, batted .235/.297/.353 with one home run in ten games with the Mets. However, in 20 games with Triple-A Las Vegas, he has hit .370/.402/.506 with a home run, eight doubles, and three steals over 87 plate appearances.
