Somebody slow this guy down!

Dan Murphy continues to rake in the Arizona Fall League as evidenced by another big game last night.

MLB.com reports that Murphy homered and hit a walk-off double to lead Peoria over Mesa, 13-12, on Tuesday to push the Saguaros past the the Solar Sox in the Arizona Fall League American Division standings.

Murphy, MLB.com’s Mets Organizational Hitter of the Year, went 3-for-5 and collected three RBIs on the day.

“It was a good day,” Murphy said. “I had runners on, the guys ahead of me were swinging the bat well and the guys behind me were swinging the bat well. I saw some good pitches to hit.”

And for those of you who are not aware, Murphy has been taking the AFL by storm while playing a slick second base.

“My goals are to be consistent and play well every day so I’m ready for Spring Training,” he said. “I’m here to play second base every day and get more comfortable.”

Murphy is hitting .388 with an on-base percentage of .484 and a .612 slugging percentage.
