After Carlos Correa tied up the series (1-1) Sunday night in Houston with a walk-off solo home run in extra innings, the Astros will face the Yankees in New York Tuesday night to compete in Game 3 of the ALCS.

Luis Severino takes the mound for the Yankees. After missing nearly an entire season with a rotator cuff inflammation and a lat strain injury, Severino only saw four starts between the regular season and postseason but has upheld a 1.88 ERA.

Gerrit Cole, on the other hand, has dominated with a career-best 20 wins this season. Cole has won five games since the beginning of September, positioning this as a pitchers’ duel.

St. Louis Cardinals (0-3) vs. Washington Nationals (3-0)

RHP Dakota Hudson (16-7, 3.35 ERA) vs. LHP Patrick Corbin (14-7, 3.25 ERA)

As the NLCS series comes to a close, the Nationals are either one win away from a sweep and a chance at their first World Series title, or the Cardinals could stay alive for one more game, extending to a Game 5.

Dakota Hudson will toe the rubber for the Cardinals. Hudson has earned a 1.86 ERA over his past nine starts, but requires run support to keep the team alive.

Lefty Patrick Corbin had an impressive outing in Game 1 of the NLDS, holding off the Dodgers to only two runs over six innings. He as acted as a reliever in his last three outings but will perform as a starter Tuesday night.
