
RAINED OUT!
The New York Mets have announced that tonight’s game against the St. Louis Cardinals has been rained out and rescheduled as part of a single-admission doubleheader tomorrow, Tuesday, July 26 at 4:10 p.m.
The second game of the double-header will start approximately 20 minutes after the conclusion of the first game.
• Only tickets marked “Tuesday, July 26, 2016 – Game 48” will be valid for admission to tomorrow’s 4:10 p.m. single-admission doubleheader.
• Fans holding a paid ticket for tonight’s game marked “Monday, July 25, 2016 – Game 47” may NOT use that ticket for tomorrow’s 4:10 p.m. single-admission doubleheader, but can exchange it for a ticket comparable in price and location to tomorrow’s doubleheader, subject to availability.
Noah Syndergaard will start Game 1 on Tuesday, while Bartolo Colon goes in Game 2.

The Mets come back tonight after a taking a critical series in Miami. Steven Matz looked good tossing 6 scoreless and the Mets scored just enough runs to keep the Marlins at bay. Now the Mets look to keep adding numbers to the win column as the Cardinals come to town.
The Mets will start a nine-game homestand tonight and will play 17 of their next 20 games in New York City. The Mets are 9-4 in their last 13 home games and 26-20 at home this season.
