Ken Rosenthal of the Athletic reports that the St. Louis Cardinals have reached an agreement with right-hander Bud Norris, pending a physical.

According to Marc Carig of the Athletic, the Mets are interested in journeyman right-hander Bud Norris.

Norris, who spent a bulk of his career as a starter, has transitioned to more of a bullpen role in recent seasons.

In 2017, he appeared in 60 games for the Los Angeles Angels, 57 of which were as a reliever. In 62.0 innings pitched, he logged a 4.21 ERA and 3.90 FIP while being good for 0.5 WAR.

Norris has spent time with the Houston Astros, Baltimore Orioles, Atlanta Braves and Los Angeles Dodgers in his career as well.

He has a lifetime record of 64-84 with a 4.49 ERA, 4.21 FIP and 1.403 WHIP over nine big league seasons, while being worth a combined 5.0 WAR.
