Have you heard the big news making its way through the Mets blogosphere today? In a stunning admission made to a local TV reporter on Tuesday afternoon, Mets GM candidate Logan White said on Tuesday that the “Mets treated him with class”.  Okay, so there’s that…

And then there’s some real news!

YANKEES ON VERGE OF ELIMINATION!

As an avowed Yankee hater, the Rangers beating the Yankees has softened the blow of another bad Mets season. The Texas Rangers are now on the verge of winning their third straight game at Yankee Stadium and taking the ALCS series four games to one.

In attempt to dethrone Philadelphia Phillies fans as the most classless, worthless and despicable fans in baseball, the idiots shown above interfered with what would have been a great catch by rightfielder Nelson Cruz to rob Robinson Cano of a home run. This particular camera shot shows how blatant the interference was despite not being called by the umpires. But then this happened!

Josh Hamilton slugged two more home runs yesterday as the Rangers clobbered the Bronx Bummers 10-3. That gives Hamilton four homers for the ALCS. To put that in perspective, he has twice as many homers this season than ex-Rangers Alex Rodriguez and Mark Teixeira have combined hits. LMAO!

Bengie Molina’s unbelievably bad on-base percentage (lmao) struck again when he belted a towering three-run homer off of Yankees starter A.J. Burnett. Who says there’s no such thing as clutch!

Right fielder Nelson Cruz got his revenge against the classless Yankee fans when he gave them a look at a legit home run – a two-run ninth inning blast to put the final nails in the Yankees coffin.

Derek Jeter was not amused… Oh and don’t expect to see first baseman Mark Teixeira take the field at 4:00 PM for what could be a a Grand Ol’ Texas Tea Party in Yankee Stadium this evening. Tex is out with a hamstring… Aww… Poor thing…

The Texas Rangers are everything I wish the Mets were right now. A great young GM in Jon Daniels, a great owner in Nolan Ryan (a ’69 Met!), great young players entering their prime, and veteran players who actually come through in the clutch.

Go Rangers, Beat the Yanks!
