Mets Option Núñez, Add Castillo to Roster

The Mets optioned Dedniel Núñez to Triple-A Syracuse to make room for José Castillo on the roster. Castillo was acquired from the Diamondbacks Friday for cash considerations. The move gave the Mets another left-handed option in the bullpen after Danny Young and A.J. Minter went down for the remainder of the 2025 season.
