New York Mets top prospects Peter Alonso and Andres Gimenez have been chosen to play in the Arizona Fall League All Star Game on Saturday at Surprise Stadium.

They will be joining some of the top prospects in the game, including Blue Jays 3B Vladimir Guerrero Jr, Astros RHP Forrest Whitley, and Nationals SS Carter Kieboom.

You can check out the full rosters for both the East and West squad here.

Alonso enjoyed a tremendous breakout season at the plate, in which he led the minors with 36 home runs. Thus far in AFL play, the ball has been jumping off his bat.

He has picked up right where he left off, and this past week he smacked his league leading fourth home run. He also leads the league in extra base hits with eight, and is in eleventh with a .941 OPS over 15 AFL games.

Gimenez, on the other hand, has had his fair share of struggles to begin AFL play. Through twelve games, he is hitting just .111/.294/.333 with a double, a triple, a home run, and five RBI.

This season, Gimenez showed just why he’s the Mets top prospect by performing in Double-A, despite being one of the younger prospects at just 19 years old. In 37 games for the Rumble Ponies, Gimenez hit .277/.344/.358 with nine doubles, ten stolen bases, and sixteen RBI.

The “Fall Stars Game” takes place this Saturday, November 3 at 8 PM. The game can be seen on live on MLB Network or be streamed on MLB.com.
