Mets team president Sandy Alderson was a guest on Thursday afternoon on WFAN talking about a variety of different topics, one important note was that the Mets team doctors currently have June as a reasonable expectation for the return of Noah Syndergaard.

The big right-hander had Tommy John surgery back in March of this year. Our own Pat Ragazzo took a look at Syndergaard’s rehab back in August, including info from the physical therapist that is helping Noah getting back on track.

Earlier on Thursday, Mets’ manager Luis Rojas said that Syndergaard was “on schedule or maybe a little bit ahead of schedule.”

The 28-year-old has a career 3.31 ERA, 1.16 WHIP, and 775 strikeouts in 716 innings.
