The 21-year-old went 1-for-3 with a walk and a stolen base in his first game for the Gigantes. He was also slated at third base for his debut, a position he’ll most likely be in the mix for in spring training of 2027.

Overall, the Gigantes del Cibao won the game 4-1. Rojas batted seventh in a lineup that featured Agustin Ramirez of the Marlins and Marcell Ozuna.

The team Rojas and the Gigantes faced was the Águilas Cibaeñas. Their roster featured former Met Christopher Morel, who went 0-for-4, and Cardinal outfielder Victor Scott II. Chris Suero is also on the roster for the Águilas Cibaeñas, but did not appear in the game.

The Gigantes del Cibao face off again Saturday at 5 p.m. against the Tigres del Licey.
