LHP Dylan Dodd (0-0, 13.50 ERA) vs. LHP Tarik Skubal (–, -.–)
FOX
Atlanta was able to hold off Philadelphia in a commanding Game 3 win. Their reward? The two-time defending World Champion Dodgers.
Game 1 will go through Tarik Skubal, who is among the best starters in the game year in and year out. The Braves meanwhile will counter with their own lefty, Dylan Dodd. The Braves starter pitched two-thirds of an inning against the Phillies in the wild card round, allowing one earned run on one hit.
It’s a 2021 National League Championship Series rematch between the two squads. Atlanta handled the Dodgers at in six games, but that was back when Freddie Freeman donned the A on his cap. It’s the third time these two ball clubs have faced off this decade, with the first coming in the 2020 NLCS. It’s also the fifth time these two teams have battled in October this century.
