Good morning, Mets fans!

The Mets won their second straight game against the Cleveland Guardians on Wednesday, squeaking out a 6-5 victory in 10 innings. They would have lost if not for a two-out error in the ninth inning. Four Mets relievers combined to allow zero earned runs, including the electric MLB debut of Jefry Yan.

The lefty made his first major-league appearance at 29 years old after years in the minors, a journey that included some time away from baseball working in construction and other jobs. He worked out of a bases-loaded, one-out jam, collecting two strikeouts in the process. He brought his signature celebration to an MLB field and also added some extra flair as he returned to the dugout.
