Luis Robert Jr. went 2-for-3 with a home run in Double-A Binghamton’s 7-2 loss Friday to Hartford. It was his first homer since hitting one for the big-league team on April 9 vs. Arizona.

Robert (lumbar spine disc herniation) could return to the Mets after the All-Star break and they may look to showcase him for teams in need of outfield help at the trade deadline, which is Aug. 3. Robert, 28, hit two homers in 24 games for New York before landing on the injured list.
