Another Sunday has come and gone for the Mets affiliates, and little progress has been made from a winning point of view. The organization went 1-2, with rehabbing major leaguers working their way back, a couple of positive pitching outings, and poor team play. While St. Lucie (Single-A) picked up a win, Triple-A and Double-A lost, and High-A Brooklyn finished in a suspended contest tied 2-2 in the eighth inning.
Jorge Polanco and Dedniel Núñez continued rehab assignments, with both seeing positive results. Polanco hit a two-run home run for Syracuse (Triple-A) while Núñez pitched a scoreless seventh inning for the Rumble Ponies (Double-A).
Jonathan Santucci continued his recent success, earning a quality start in his six innings while striking out 10 in the Binghamton loss.

Triple-A
Worcester Red Sox 7, Syracuse Mets 3
- LF Nick Morabito: 2-for-3, HR, RBI, BB
- DH Jorge Polanco: 1-for-4, HR, 2 RBI
- RF MJ Melendez: 0-for-3, BB
- CF Cristian Pache: 1-for-4, 2 K
Morabito has been on a roll as of late, with his two hits on Sunday extending his hitting streak to 15 games. The Mets’ No. 10-ranked prospect also added his ninth home run of the season in the loss, further bettering his previous career high in any professional level of six.
- RHP Jack Weisenburger: 4.0 IP, 6 H, 5 R, 5 ER, 2 BB, 2 K, L
- RHP Ryan Lambert: 1.0 IP, 0 H, R, ER, 3 BB
- LHP Joe Jaques: 0.1 IP, 2 H, R, ER
- RHP Dan Hammer: 1.2 IP, 0 R, 2 BB
- LHP Nate Lavender: 2.0 IP, H, 0 R, 6 K
Hammer has been spotless in the earned run department since June 23. Across his last four appearances, he has pitched 4.1 IP scoreless, while lowering his season ERA across two levels to 2.16, with his Triple-A ERA sitting at 1.77. In what could be the right-hander’s last chance to play in the majors, he is certainly making his case, especially with the big league club looking to be selling at the trade deadline.

Double-A
Chesapeake Baysox 2, Binghamton Rumble Ponies 0
- DH Chris Suero: 0-for-3, BB, K
- CF Jose Ramos: 0-for-4, 2 K
- 3B Nick Lorusso: 1-for-3, BB
- 1B JT Schwartz: 0-for-4, 4 K
There are zero positives from the Binghamton offense on Sunday, with the team only tallying one hit. Mets’ No. 13-ranked prospect Suero’s average on the year now sits below the Mendoza-line, not a good sign from a struggling farm system across the board.
- LHP Jonathan Santucci: 6.0 IP, 2 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 4 BB, 10 K, L
- RHP Dedniel Núñez: 1.0 IP, 0 R
- RHP Danis Correa: 1.0 IP, 0 R, BB, K
- RHP Carlos Guzman: 1.0 IP, H, 0 R, 2 K
Santucci delivered a strong outing, with 10 strikeouts being the highlight of his six-inning outing. The left-hander has been pitching well as of late, having a 2.86 ERA in June across 22.0 IP with a .203 AVG against. Should Santucci continue the strong pitching while getting his command a bit more under control, he could be promoted in August as Triple-A prospects graduate to the majors.

High-A
Frederick Keys, 2 Brooklyn Cyclones, 2 — SUSPENDED B8
- SS Mitch Voit: 1-for-3, 2 RBI
- 3B Yonatan Henriquez: 2-for-3, BB
- RF JT Benson: 0-for-4, 2K
- C Ronald Hernandez: 0-for-4
While the game was suspended due to rain, the Cyclones mustered just six hits in the rainy affair. The Mets’ fifth-best prospect, Mitch Voit, drove in both runs on a two-out single. After struggling early in the season, Voit excelled in June, hitting .305/.426/.476 across 82 at-bats.
- RHP Robert Stock: 2.2 IP, 4 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 5 K
- RHP Ryan Dollar: 1.1 IP, H, 0 R, 2 BB
- LHP Daviel Hurtado: 2.0 IP, H, 0 R, 3 K
- RHP Juan Arnaud: 1.2 IP, 2 H, 4 K
Arnaud’s superb 2026 continued in Sunday’s affair. The 23-year-old struggled in April, pitching to a 5.68 ERA, but has turned things around, owning a 1.74 ERA in May, a 2.00 ERA in June, and 0.00 through two appearances in July thus far.

Single-A
St. Lucie Mets 10, Tampa Tarpons 5
- SS Elian Peña: 0-for-3
- CF Trey Snyder: 2-for-4, R, BB
- 3B Antonio Jimenez: 3-for-4, 2 R, HR, 2 RBI, K
- RF-SS Branny De Oleo: 1-for-5, 2 R, HR, 2 RBI, K
Despite a strong performance from the St. Lucie offense, the Mets’ sixth-best prospect Peña struggled and was removed from the game after his third at-bat. It has been a rough go of it recently for the young shortstop, as he is slashing just .143/.200/.143 over his last 10 games, with just one walk.
- RHP Emilio Obispo: 3.0 IP, H, R, 0 ER, BB, K
- RHP Calvin Ziegler: 0.1 IP, 2 H, 3 R, 3 ER, 2 BB, K
- RHP Joe Scarborough: 1.2 IP, H, R, ER, 2 K
- RHP Caden Wooster: 2.1 IP, 2 H, 0 R, BB, 4 K
- RHP Ernesto Mercedes: 1.2 IP, H, 0 R, 3 K, W
Obispo continues to be one of the more intriguing Single-A prospects for the Mets. Across his 12 games in 2026, the 19-year-old has just a 2.03 ERA across 44.1 IP with 45 strikeouts. Command is the thing that will propel him to the next level, but for now, he is certainly a prospect to keep your eye on for years to come.
