Francisco Lindor left Wednesday’s game vs. the Twins after appearing to grimace between third and home while scoring on a double in the fourth inning. The Mets said he left the game with “left calf tightness.”

Lindor went into the tunnel with a trainer after he scored and did not return to play defense in the fifth. Bo Bichette moved from third to short and Brett Baty entered the game at third base.

Lindor was 2-for-2 when he exited. He beat out an infield hit in the first inning and made a leaping grab of a line drive.

Ironically, Juan Soto, who hurt his calf in San Francisco running the bases, was making his return from the injured list.
