As the Nationals discuss a trade for Max Scherzer, the Mets are expected to “inquire” about the ace.
Following a series win over the Blue Jays, the Mets are slated to take on the Braves in a doubleheader, starting at 5 p.m. Marcus Stroman will start Game 1 for the Mets.
