Jacob deGrom isn’t done winning just yet. We already know he wants to win the Cy Young for a third time in a row, but that’s not all he wants to win. He’s ready for his team to take it all.
While speaking with SNY’s Gary Apple, deGrom told him that the Mets are at the top. They have the rotation, they have the depth, they have the position players. “Our plan is to win the east and win the World Series,” he said.

DeGrom isn’t wrong though. If this team comes together, they do have a really really good shot at getting it done. We know this team already has their eye on the prize.
PECOTA projections agrees with deGrom, they have the Mets winning the 2020 NL East crown with a 88-74 record.
