Wilmer Flores played five innings yesterday in his first rehab game for the St. Lucie Mets. He went 1-for-3 on the night with a double off the left-field wall.
Flores, 26, has been sidelined since last month with lower-back soreness.
In 46 games for New York this year, he has three home runs and 13 RBI to go along with a .248/.320/.398 slash line in 128 plate appearances.
The team expects the infielder to return to the team at some point during the road-trip.
