Jacob deGrom will be leaving Spring Training for a few days to be with his wife Stacey for the birth of their second child. He will return to the team Saturday per Mike Puma of the New York Post.
He already has one son, Jaxon Anthony deGrom, who was born April 11th, 2016 — Almost exactly nine months after deGrom struck out the side on 10 pitches at the 2015 All Star Game. Just saying.
