New York Mets GM Sandy Alderson told reporters on Thursday that Matt Harvey will make his first rehab start on Saturday for the Brooklyn Cyclones.
The Cyclones will be on the road vs the Hudson Valley Renegades.
Harvey, 28, has been sidelined since June with a stress injury to the scapula in his right shoulder.
On the season, Harvey is 4-3 with 5.25 ERA in 13 games started and hopes to get in several starts before the season ends.

Matt Harvey threw live batting practice on Tuesday at Citi Field prior to the Mets game vs. the Texas Rangers.
According to manager Terry Collins, Harvey threw 20 pitches from the mound after throwing a bullpen session Sunday.
“My goal is to get out there as soon as I can,” Harvey said. “Obviously, health and performance is the biggest thing and I’m on track to get back hopefully pretty soon.”
