According to Adam Rubin from ESPN, Mets outfielder Michael Cuddyer will return to the starting lineup on Monday when the New York Mets open up a three-game series vs the Miami Marlins at Citi Field.
Cuddyer has been bothered by a right wrist injury which has kept him out of the Mets lineup for the last couple of weeks. He last started on September 1 and was recently used as a pinch hitter on Friday. He received a cortisone injection a week ago last Sunday.
Cuddyer could start twice vs the Marlins as the Mets will face left-handers on Monday and Wednesday. He is hitting .264 with 10 home runs and 38 RBIs in 348 at-bats this season.
