With the 2026 MLB season in the rearview mirror, hobby season is right around the corner. One of Topps’ most anticipated releases is right around the corner. Topps Chrome Update Series Baseball is now available for pre-order, with release date on December 9. Notoriously, the biggest chase for Chrome Update is the coveted Rookie Debut Patch Autograph — a one-of-one card featuring the player’s autograph and more importantly, the debut patch they wore in their first MLB appearance.
The Mets will have seven rookies in this series, and their Rookie Debut patches are up for grabs, and will be in high demand. Carson Benge, Nolan McLean, Jonah Tong, Alex Carrillo Jonathan Pintaro and former Mets Brandon Sproat and Dom Hamel will all have their one-of-one cards in this series.
Other key rookies to be on the lookout include Jacob Misiorowski, Munetaka Murakami, Cam Schlittler, Kevin McGonigle, Konnor Griffin, JJ Wetherholt, Bryce Eldridge, Roman Anthony, Travis Bazzana, Kazuma Okamoto, Jac Caglianone, Carter Jensen, Chase DeLauter, Parker Messick, Samuel Basallo and TJ Rumfield. Check out the full checklist for Rookie Debut Patches here.
Per Topps, Alter Ego Super Heroes SSPs return along with Major League Minis and the all-new, retail-exclusive Glass Canvas.
