It’s the American League’s turn to take a night off as the Philadelphia Phillies look to take another game from the Atlanta Braves. Meanwhile, on the West Coast, the Los Angeles Dodgers try to even out the series against the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Both games will air on TBS.

GAME 2: (4) Philadelphia Phillies vs. (1) Atlanta Braves, 6:07 PM ET

Pitching Matchup: Zack Wheeler (1-0, 1.35 ERA) vs. Max Fried (0-0, 0.00 ERA)

A rematch of last year’s NLDS showdown, the reigning NL Pennant winner blanked the Braves Saturday night, the first time the Braves were shut out at home this season. The Braves were only able to muster five hits off of Ranger Suárez and company, and they gave up two errors, one on a controversial catcher’s interference by Sean Murphy that allowed a run to score.

Bryce Harper was the man of the hour, blasting a solo shot, walking twice and scoring two runs in the contest. The Phillies return to Turner Field hoping to put another one in the books and punch their ticket to another NLCS for a second straight year. Meanwhile, Fried hopes to notch a win for the Braves and keep their season alive. He’s 4-4 with a 3.62 career ERA against the Phillies in 19 appearances.

Game 2: (6) Arizona Diamondbacks vs. (2) Los Angeles Dodgers, 9:07 PM ET

Pitching Matchup: Zac Gallen (1-0, 3.00 ERA) vs. Bobby Miller (0-0, 0.00 ERA)

In the most shocking game of the postseason yet, the Diamondbacks bats came out of the gate scorching hot. They roughed up Dodgers ace and future Hall of Fame Clayton Kershaw, who had the worst start of his 16-year career. He finished the night after giving up six hits, six earned runs, one walk and one strikeout while only getting a single out.

Former Met Tommy Pham tied a franchise record in hits in a postseason game with four, and his final one of the night was a rocket that left the ballpark. The Diamondbacks beat the Dodgers 11-2 in Game 1 and look to continue their riches in the City of Angels. Since his debut in 2019, Zac Gallen is 1-4 with a 3.48 in 11 starts against the Dodgers.
