Scott Hairston Signing Official

Mets make it official. The New York Mets today announced the club has re-signed outfielder Scott Hairston to a one-year major league contract. Hairston, 31, batted .235 (31-132) with 20 runs scored, eight doubles, one triple, seven home runs and 24 RBI in 79 games with the Mets last season.
