According to a press release from the Seattle Mariners, they have signed left-hander Oliver Perez to a minor league deal that includes an invitation to Spring Training. Jayson Stark of ESPN.com reports that the Phillies have agreed to a minor league contract with free-agent pitcher Joel Pineiro, according to a major league source.
