MLB.com reports that the Phillies placed Roy Halladay on the 15-day disabled list Monday because of inflammation in his right shoulder. Philadelphia recalled left-hander Joe Savery to temporarily take Halladay’s place on the 25-man roster. In the sixth inning of tonight’s game against the Kansas City Royals, Blue Jays shortstop Jose Reyes slid into second base awkwardly on a stolen base attempt.
