</ul>
<p>The Rumble Ponies offense had a huge afternoon as they scored eight runs on eleven hits. Nido continues his midseason resurgence and is now hitting .366 with two home runs over his last 10 games. Mora has quietly put together a solid season with Binghamton and, after hitting .313/.360/.463 in June, his July has gotten off to a similarly hot start (.294/.333/.471 in July).</p>

</ul>
<p>After dominating in his last two starts, Dunn was hit around a bit in this game, allowing nine batters to reach base and throwing 93 pitches over five innings. Dunn has allowed one run or less in four of his six starts with Binghamton this season. Roseboom continues to have an excellent bounce back season after missing most of 2017 with injuries; he has struck out 45 batters in 38.2 innings this season. Taylor has not allowed an earned run in ten of his last eleven appearances.</p>
<p><strong>Dunedin (41-43) 5, St. Lucie (33-49) 2  <a href="https://www.milb.com/milb/stats/stats.jsp?gid=2018_07_08_dunafa_sluafa_1&amp;t=g_box&amp;sid=milb">Box Score</a></strong></p>

</ul>
<p>The Mets were limited to just five singles in the first game of Sunday&#8217;s doubleheader. Both runs scored on an <strong><a href="https://www.baseball-reference.com/register/player.fcgi?id=dimino000ant&amp;utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Anthony Dimino</a> </strong>single in the fourth inning. This was Rivera&#8217;s third rehab game and he played the full seven-inning game at second after only playing five innings the game before. After a rough June, Gimenez has gotten off to a strong start to July as he his hitting .345/.367/.379 through the first eight games of the month and has a seven game hitting streak.</p>

</ul>
<p>Corrnish started the game for St. Lucie and needed just 72 pitches to get through the six innings needed for a quality start. Cobb made his first relief appearance with St. Lucie since being promoted from the Columbia Fireflies. He has a 34:4 K:BB ratio on the season.</p>
<p><strong>Dunedin (42-43) 2, St. Lucie (33-50) 1  <a href="https://www.milb.com/milb/stats/stats.jsp?gid=2018_07_08_dunafa_sluafa_2&amp;t=g_box&amp;sid=milb">Box Score</a></strong></p>

</ul>
<p>After a poor offensive performance in the first game of the doubleheader, St. Lucie&#8217;s hitters struggled even more in game two. St. Lucie had just three runners on base for the entire game, with all three reaching on singles. The lone run of the game came on Dimino&#8217;s RBI groundout in the first inning. St. Lucie&#8217;s offense, which sports a league worst .620 OPS, has been a major factor in the team&#8217;s poor performance in 2018.</p>

</ul>
<p>Llanes gave up a career-high eleven hits in his start, but, with the help of three double plays, he was able to complete the game with allowing just two runs. Llanes has a 1.46 ERA and 11:2 K:BB ratio through two July starts.</p>
<p><strong>Charleston (45-39) 9, Columbia (41-43) 6  <a href="https://www.milb.com/milb/stats/stats.jsp?gid=2018_07_08_crdafx_colafx_1&amp;t=g_box&amp;sid=milb">Box Score</a></strong></p>

</ul>
<p>The Fireflies were held without a run for the first five innings of the game, but they were able to get on the board with four runs in the sixth inning to jump ahead 4-2. The team would add a run in each of the eighth and ninth innings, but the six runs would not be enough to survive Columbia&#8217;s late-inning bullpen meltdown. Moreno is hitting .364 over his last 10 games and is hitting .299/.379/.442 at home on the season. This was Vasquez&#8217;s last game with the Fireflies, as he was promoted to the St. Lucie Mets following Sunday&#8217;s game.</p>

</ul>
<p>Rennie made his first start with the Fireflies since being signed from independent ball earlier in the month. He pitched very well in his first start, allowing just two runs over seven innings. Columbia&#8217;s bullpen was not at its best, to say the least, as they allowed seven runs over the final two innings of the game. Hernandez, who had been so dominant for the majority of 2018, allowed a go-ahead grand slam home run in the ninth and saw his ERA jump from 1.19 to 2.59.</p>
<p><strong>Brooklyn (12-11) 2, Staten Island (10-13) 1  <a href="https://www.milb.com/milb/stats/stats.jsp?gid=2018_07_08_staasx_broasx_1&amp;t=g_box&amp;sid=milb">Box Score</a></strong></p>
<ul>
<li><strong><a href="https://www.milb.com/player/index.jsp?sid=milb&amp;player_id=656017">Jose Miguel Medina</a> </strong>CF: 2-for-4, 2B, 2 RBI, K, .304/.382/.481</li>
<li><strong>Nick Meyer </strong>C: 1-for-3, R, .343/.361/.429</li>
<li><strong>Chase Chambers </strong>1B: 1-for-2, BB, .319/.410/.403</li>
</ul>
<p>The Cyclones offense struggled in Sunday&#8217;s game as they had just two runs on five hits. Medina drove in both of Brooklyn&#8217;s runs: A third inning double brought home <strong>Brian Sharp </strong>to tie the game at one, while his eighth inning single brought home Meyer as the winning run. Meyer extended his hitting streak to eight games and he has struck out just twice over that stretch. <strong><a href="https://www.baseball-reference.com/register/player.fcgi?id=diroci000ant&amp;utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Anthony Dirocie</a> </strong>was promoted to Brooklyn before the game and went 0-for-3 with with three strikeouts in his Cyclones debut.</p>
<ul>
<li>RHP <strong><a href="https://www.baseball-reference.com/players/s/syndeno01.shtml?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Noah Syndergaard</a> </strong>(0-0, 1.80 ERA) 5.0 IP, 2 H, ER, BB, 7 K</li>
<li>RHP <strong>Ryley Gilliam </strong>(0-0, 0.00 ERA) 1.0 IP, BB, K</li>
<li>RHP <strong><a href="https://www.baseball-reference.com/register/player.fcgi?id=smith-010kev&amp;utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Kevin Smith</a> </strong>(W, 2-0, 0.00 ERA) 3.0 IP, H, 4 K</li>
</ul>
<p>Syndergaard was making his first rehab start coming back from a strained finger ligament. His afternoon started off a little shaky, as a walk, single, and wild pitch resulted in the first run of the game scoring quickly. However, he quickly settled in, giving up just a single hit for the rest of the game. He threw 71 pitches in the start. Gilliam, who was recently drafted in the fifth round of this June&#8217;s draft, pitched a scoreless inning in his professional debut. Smith has been completely dominant so far in his professional career as he has giving up just three hits and one walk while striking out 14 in 9.0 scoreless innings.</p>
<p><strong>Kingsport (10-7) 16, Bluefield (15-4) 3  <a href="https://www.milb.com/milb/stats/stats.jsp?gid=2018_07_08_kptrok_blurok_1&amp;t=g_box&amp;sid=milb">Box Score</a></strong></p>

</ul>
<p>With twelve hits, ten walks, five batters hit by pitches, and one runner reaching on an error, the Mets had an incredible 28 runners on base, an average of slightly over three an inning. They were solid with runners in scoring position, going 5-for-16, but they still had the opportunity to score more than their sixteen runs, as the team still left 11 men on base. Santana has struck out just six times in 14 games this season.</p>
<ul>
<li>RHP <strong><a href="https://www.baseball-reference.com/register/player.fcgi?id=bryant003gar&amp;utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Garrison Bryant</a> </strong>(0-0, 3.46 ERA) 3.2 IP, 3 H, ER, 4 BB, 6 K</li>

<li>RHP <strong>Christian Tripp </strong>(0-0, 0.00 ERA) 1.0 IP, 2 K</li>
</ul>
<p>Bryant started the game and did a good job of missing bats, as he struck out six batters in less than four innings. However, he was a bit wild and, with his pitch count already at 79, he was taken out of the game in the fourth inning. Tripp has allowed just one hit through his first three professional relief appearances.</p>
<p><strong>GCL Astros (7-11) 3, GCL Mets (11-7) 0  <a href="https://www.milb.com/milb/stats/stats.jsp?gid=2018_07_08_astrok_mtsrok_1&amp;t=g_box&amp;sid=milb">Box Score</a></strong></p>

<li><strong>Stanley Consuegra </strong>RF: 1-for-4, K, .242/.333/.371</li>
<li><strong>Ronny Mauricio </strong>SS: 1-for-4, 2 K, .366/.355/.535</li>
<li><strong><a href="https://www.baseball-reference.com/register/player.fcgi?id=rasqui000wal&amp;utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Walter Rasquin</a> </strong>2B: 1-for-3, BB, .524/.615/.810</li>
</ul>
<p>The Mets offense was held to just four hits, all of which were singles, in the shutout. Mauricio has a hit in every game he&#8217;s played in with the GCL Mets as he extended his hitting streak to 17 games. <strong>Jarred Kelenic </strong>went 0-for-4 in the game, which is the first time that he has gone hitless in a professional game. Rasquin continues to hit extremely well during his rehab stint and he be ready to return to Columbia for the first time since April shortly.</p>
<ul>
<li>RHP <strong><a href="https://www.baseball-reference.com/register/player.fcgi?id=otanez000mic">Michel Otanez</a> </strong>(L, 0-3, 8.03 ERA) 6.0 IP, 4 H, 3 R, ER, HB, 3 K</li>

</ul>
<p>Otanez started the game for the Mets and had his best outing since returning from Tommy John surgery. Otanez went six innings for the first time in his career and, while three Mets errors didn&#8217;t help his cause, he only gave up one earned run. Rodriguez walked three batters without striking anyone out, but he didn&#8217;t give up a hit or a run in relief.</p>

<p>The Rumbles Ponies took a quick lead thanks to <strong><a href="https://www.baseball-reference.com/register/player.fcgi?id=alonso000pet&amp;utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Peter Alonso</a></strong>&#8216;s sacrifice fly in the first inning. <strong><a href="https://www.baseball-reference.com/register/player.fcgi?id=mcneil000jef&amp;utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Jeff McNeil</a></strong> made his case for an MLB promotion with a RBI single in the third inning to double the Mets lead. However, once the Curve&#8217;s offensive onslaught began, their bats&#8217; quieted. The light-hitting <strong><a href="https://www.baseball-reference.com/register/player.fcgi?id=mora--000joh&amp;utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">John Mora</a></strong> homered in the sixth inning, but by that time, it was too late to even sniff a comeback. Peter Alonso&#8217;s mini-slump persisted as he went 0-2 and is hitting .191 in his last 15 games.</p>

<h3><span style="color: #ff6600">Week In Review</span></h3>
<p>The <a href="https://www.milb.com/index.jsp?sid=t400">Las Vegas 51s</a> (15-23, fourth in the Pacific Coast League Pacific Southern division) have won four of their last seven games despite losing <strong><a href="https://www.baseball-reference.com/register/player.fcgi?id=thomps003dav&amp;utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">David Thompson</a></strong>, <strong><a href="https://www.baseball-reference.com/players/b/brentbr01.shtml?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Bryce Brentz</a></strong>, and <strong><a href="https://www.baseball-reference.com/players/c/cecchga02.shtml?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Gavin Cecchini</a></strong> to injuries and <strong><a href="https://www.baseball-reference.com/players/s/smithdo02.shtml?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Dominic Smith</a></strong> and <strong><a href="https://www.baseball-reference.com/players/g/guilllu01.shtml?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Luis Guillorme</a></strong> to the major leagues.</p>
<p>The <a href="https://www.milb.com/index.jsp?sid=t505">Binghamton Rumble Ponies</a> (17-17, fourth in the Eastern League Eastern division) sport seven players with a .300 or better wOBA in May, but they&#8217;ve only managed a 6-7 record in the season&#8217;s second month.</p>
<p>The <a href="https://www.milb.com/index.jsp?sid=t507">St. Lucie Mets</a> (15-19, sixth in the Florida State League South division) scored a season-high 11 runs on Friday, thanks to three-hit efforts from <strong><a href="https://www.baseball-reference.com/register/player.fcgi?id=lindsa000des&amp;utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Desmond Lindsay</a></strong>, <strong><a href="https://www.baseball-reference.com/register/player.fcgi?id=dimino000ant&amp;utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Anthony Dimino</a></strong>, <strong><a href="https://www.baseball-reference.com/register/player.fcgi?id=carpio000lui&amp;utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Luis Carpio</a></strong>, and <strong><a href="https://www.baseball-reference.com/register/player.fcgi?id=strom-000ian&amp;utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Ian Strom</a></strong>. Seven of the runs were knocked in by Lindsay and Carpio.</p>
<p>The <a href="https://www.milb.com/index.jsp?sid=t3705">Columbia Fireflies</a> (19-17, third in the South Atlantic League Southern division), the organization&#8217;s lone squad with a winning record, were 1-2 in one-run games this week.</p>
<h3><span style="color: #ff6600">Mets Minors News &amp; Buzz</span></h3>
<p>Rumble Ponies infielder <strong><a href="https://www.baseball-reference.com/register/player.fcgi?id=mcneil000jef&amp;utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Jeff McNeil</a></strong> hit for the cycle on Sunday in Portland. He became only the second player in team history to accomplish the feat, joining <strong><a href="https://www.baseball-reference.com/players/s/satinjo01.shtml?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Josh Satin</a></strong> (June 24, 2011).</p>
<p>The Mets signed former Cincinnati Reds outfielder <strong><a href="https://www.baseball-reference.com/players/k/kivlepa01.shtml?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Patrick Kivlehan</a></strong> on Wednesday and assigned him to Las Vegas. The 28-year-old Nyack, NY native is 4-16 with a pair of doubles to begin his tenure in the organization.</p>
<p>The signing of Kivlehan was necessitated by the foot injury to Bryce Brentz, which was revealed to be a broken bone. He is expected to remain out of action for four to six weeks.</p>
<p>Right-handed pitcher <strong><a href="https://www.baseball-reference.com/register/player.fcgi?id=hutchi000bry&amp;utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Bryce Hutchinson</a></strong> continues to progress well in his rehab from elbow tendonitis. He was the Mets&#8217; 12th-round selection in last year&#8217;s draft.</p>
<p>Infielder <strong><a href="https://www.baseball-reference.com/register/player.fcgi?id=ely---000and&amp;utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Andrew Ely</a></strong> underwent an MRI on Thursday in New York for a shoulder strain. Ely, a minor league Rule 5 pick, played in 13 games with Binghamton before the injury.</p>
<h3><span style="color: #ff6600">Who&#8217;s Hot, Who&#8217;s Not</span></h3>
<p><strong>Who&#8217;s hot: </strong></p>
<p>When he&#8217;s been healthy, Jeff McNeil has been very good. Unfortunately for him, the 26-year-old has rarely been able to say that he&#8217;s injury-free.</p>
<p>McNeil played 51 games over the 2016 and 2017 seasons, and, after first reaching High-A St. Lucie in 2014, he&#8217;s finally secured a full-time job in Binghamton. Through 27 games, McNeil is hitting .307/1.080, the latter number being the second-best rate in the organization.</p>
<p>The cycle on Sunday was the cherry on top of an all-around solid week. McNeil hit safely in all seven contests, posting a .370 average with six extra-base hits, seven RBI, and four walks to two strikeouts.</p>
<p>McNeil is walking more than he&#8217;s K&#8217;ing for the first time since his debut season and hitting the ball in the air far more often (and turning them into more home runs). He&#8217;s likely to see Las Vegas by midseason, where a major league future can more accurately be assessed.</p>
<p><strong>Who&#8217;s not: </strong></p>
<p>After hitting .333 through the season&#8217;s first two weeks, St. Lucie outfielder Ian Strom is hitting .191 since April 24. He also drilled a foul ball off of his ankle and has been out of commission since Friday.</p>

</ul>
<p>Las Vegas got on the board early with a two-run single by Kelly in the bottom of the first, but they didn&#8217;t score again until <strong><strong><a href="https://www.baseball-reference.com/register/player.fcgi?id=biondi001pat&amp;utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Patrick Biondi</a></strong></strong> hit an RBI double in the eighth after he came in as part of a double switch. It was good to see Smith finally get an extra-base hit, but his bat has still been slowly fading. However, he still sports a strong .382 OBP. Guillorme&#8217;s bat continues to heat up, as he has quietly put up a .370 OBP. But the bats couldn&#8217;t muster anything up after the first inning besides the Biondi double and they ultimately fell 5-3.</p>
<p><strong><a href="https://www.baseball-reference.com/players/c/cecchga02.shtml?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Gavin Cecchini</a></strong> went 0-for-2 off the bench. Brentz now has a 1.324 OPS over his last 15 games with seven home runs in that span.</p>
<ul>
<li>RHP <strong><strong><a href="https://www.baseball-reference.com/players/f/flexech01.shtml?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Chris Flexen</a></strong> </strong>(L, 2-2, 3.82 ERA): 6.0 IP, 7 H, 3 R, 0 BB, 5 K</li>
<li>RHP <strong><strong><a href="https://www.baseball-reference.com/search/search.fcgi?pid=taylor001log,taylor000log,taylor002log&amp;search=Logan+Taylor&amp;utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Logan Taylor</a></strong> </strong>(0-0, 6.92 ERA): 0.2 IP, H, 0 R, 0 BB, K</li>
<li>LHP <strong><strong><a href="https://www.baseball-reference.com/players/p/purkema01.shtml?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Matt Purke</a></strong> </strong>(1-0, 8.74 ERA): 0.2 IP, 0 H, 2 R, 3 BB, K</li>
<li>RHP <strong><strong><a href="https://www.baseball-reference.com/players/r/rhameja01.shtml?utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Jacob Rhame</a></strong> </strong>(0-1, 6.75 ERA): 1.2 IP, H, 0 R, 0 BB, 2 K</li>
</ul>
<p>Flexen continued what he&#8217;s been doing, which is giving the 51s solid if unspectacular outings. Although he has not dominated Triple-A hitters, he provided a quality start and did not walk a batter in his six innings. Taylor, who has struggled, successfully got two outs. Purke, who was in the conversation for being the second left-handed reliever out of the Mets&#8217; &#8216;pen, has really struggled in Vegas. He&#8217;s slowly started to figure things out as of late, but his struggles returned last night with three walks in less than an inning. Then Rhame, who has also struggled since his demotion, had a very solid 1.2 scoreless innings to keep the 51s in the game.</p>

<p>The Binghamton Rumble Ponies took the rubber game of the Akron RubberDucks series by a score of 4-1 Wednesday. The Rumble Ponies jumped to the early lead in the first inning with some small ball. <strong><a href="https://www.baseball-reference.com/register/player.fcgi?id=stuart002cha&amp;utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Champ Stuart</a></strong> led off with a single on a bunt ground ball down the third base line, and promptly stole second for his 7th stolen base of the season. <strong><a href="https://www.baseball-reference.com/register/player.fcgi?id=guillo000lui&amp;utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Luis Guillorme</a></strong> sacrificed Stuart to third on a bunt, and number three-hitter Kevin Kaczmarksi drove him in with a groundout to short.</p>

Along with his first inning stolen base, Stuart added two more on the night for an Eastern League leading nine.</p>

It was also Dunn&#8217;s first victory as a starter, as the one win he recorded in &#8217;16 was out of the bullpen for Brooklyn. Dunn struggled in the second inning, serving up a solo home run to the leadoff batter, followed by a triple and a run scoring single. <strong><a href="https://www.baseball-reference.com/register/player.fcgi?id=castro000har&amp;utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Harold Castro</a></strong> doubled in <strong><a href="https://www.baseball-reference.com/register/player.fcgi?id=verlan001ben&amp;utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Ben Verlander</a></strong> to give Lakeland a 4-1 lead. <p>The Columbia Fireflies defeated the Asheville Tourists 5-0 Wednesday, their sixth shutout victory of the season, behind offensive performances from <strong><a href="https://www.baseball-reference.com/register/player.fcgi?id=tebow-000tim&amp;utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Tim Tebow</a></strong>, <strong><a href="https://www.baseball-reference.com/register/player.fcgi?id=paez--000mic&amp;utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Michael Paez</a></strong>, and <strong><a href="https://www.baseball-reference.com/register/player.fcgi?id=cone--000gen&amp;utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Gene Cone</a></strong>. A three-run second inning for the FireFlies got the offense started, as <strong><a href="https://www.baseball-reference.com/register/player.fcgi?id=sanche002ali&amp;utm_campaign=Linker&amp;utm_source=direct&amp;utm_medium=linker-" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Ali Sanchez</a></strong> drove in the first run with a sac-fly to center before Gene Cone doubled in Tebow and Jose Miguel Medina to give the FireFlies the early 3-0 lead. Paez had his fourth multi-hit game of the season, including a solo home run in the third inning, his 2nd of the season. Tim Tebow hit his first triple of the season in the sixth and scored two runs. Tebow was robbed of a possible home run that would have given him the cycle in the eighth inning.</p>
