Syracuse had their all-prospect outfield playing, and while they only went 2-for-13, Ewing delivered the biggest hit of the day with a single to win the game. After a rough start to the season, Ryan Clifford is slashing .286/.348/.476 in May with only six strikeouts in 21 at-bats compared to the 34 strikeouts he had in 83 at-bats during April.

The back-end of the Syracuse bullpen was strong today, with the law firm of Lambert, Pintaro and Ross allowing one hit over three innings while striking out six. Lambert has started the season without great control, but is still striking out batters and limiting hits.

It’s time for 2025’s final installment of the Mets’ minor league players of the month.

Both the Florida Complex League Mets and Dominican Summer League Mets only played a handful of games in August, so there’s not enough of a sample size to really name players of the month. However, the end-of-the-season top international free agent signee Elian Peña had needs to be acknowledged. From June 21 on, Peña hit .363/.482/.652/1.134 with eight home runs, 22 total extra-base hits, and more walks than strikeouts. In the small sample size in August, he hit over .400 with an OPS just a tick under 1.300. He’s on a fast track to prospect stardom. Keep an eye on catcher Josmir Reyes, too, who hit .310 with a 1.043 OPS in his final 19 games with 17 walks to just nine strikeouts.

TRIPLE-A: SYRACUSE METS

Hitter of the Month: Jared Young

Stats: 26 G, .362/.429/.660/1.089, 6 HR, 2 3B, 6 2B, 13 RBI, 18 R, 10 BB, 18 SO

In the month that saw Carson Benge, Jett Williams and Ryan Clifford promoted to Triple-A, it was former big leaguer Jared Young who set the pace in August. Young mashed, racking up six home runs, 14 extra-base hits, and a one-dot OPS. He’s powered Syracuse through what is a tight playoff race. With Jesse Winker‘s season likely over, Young should get an opportunity to stick with the big league club the rest of the year.

Pitcher of the Month: Jonah Tong

Stats: 2 G (2 GS), 11.2 IP, 8 H, 0 ER, 3 BB, 17 SO, 0.00 ERA, 0.94 WHIP

We’re going to give this one to Jonah Tong. Most of Syracuse’s pitchers who had a full-month sample size didn’t have much success, and while Brandon Sproat was tempting based on his most recent start, giving pitcher of the month to someone with a 4.85 ERA doesn’t feel right. So, it goes to Tong. In his only two Triple-A appearances, Tong was about as good as one can get. Two shutouts, a ton of strikeouts, very few walks — just absurd.

DOUBLE-A: BINGHAMTON RUMBLE PONIES

Hitter of the Month: Jacob Reimer

Stats: 24 G, .345/.434/.643/1.077, 5 HR, 1 3B, 8 2B, 19 RBI, 18 R, 12 BB, 17 SO

Jacob Reimer is blossoming into a full-fledged top-100 prospect. He’s not there yet, but there are few infielders in the minor leagues who have as much helium as Reimer. A fourth-round pick in 2024, Reimer has been in the system for a while, and he’s put it all together in 2025. If he can stick at third — which is still a question — he will be one of the top prospects at the hot corner in baseball next season. If he ends up at first base, his prospect value will take a bit of a hit, but his bat might even be good enough to make the move.

Pitcher of the Month: R.J. Gordon

Stats: 6 G (6 GS), 34.2 IP, 24 H, 8 ER, 9 BB, 42 S), 2.08 ERA, 0.95 WHIP

Aaaaaand it’s Jonah Tong again — just kidding. He had a case, though with 10 innings of one-run ball and a 16-to-2 strikeout-to-walk ratio. But no, it’s not Tong. The pitching staff is loaded with worthy candidates like Jack Wenninger and Jonathan Santucci, but R.J. Gordon takes the cake here. The 23-year-old has taken off in 2025, just one year removed from being a 14th-round pick. Gordon threw up a 3.06 ERA in 15 games in High-A, and then followed that with a 3.00 ERA in nine games in Double-A. He’s the latest to emerge from a group of pitching prospects that has pitched itself into being the best system in baseball.

HIGH-A: BROOKLYN CYCLONES

Hitter of the Month: Colin Houck

Stats: 32 games, .267/.360/.413/.773, 2 HR, 1 3B, 3 2B, 8 RBI, 10 R, 11 BB, 32 SO

Former first-round pick Colin Houck has had a difficult pro career since joining the Mets organization, but he’s turned a bit of a corner in 2025. He put up an .812 OPS in 62 games, repeating Single-A, but then struggled when promoted to High-A. August was a step forward. There are still issues — like his well over 30% strikeout rate — but it’s a positive month for the former high draft pick who needed one badly.

Pitcher of the Month: Will Watson

Stats: 4 G (4 GS), 18.1 IP, 9 H, 2 ER, 9 BB, 23 SO, 0.98 ERA, 0.98 WHIP

Another true breakout pitcher in 2025, Will Watson, diced up High-A hitters in the two months he was at the level. In 63 and 2/3 innings for Brooklyn, Watson posted a 1.70 ERA and 1.15 WHIP with 77 strikeouts. His final four games in August were the capper, earning him a promotion to Double-A with a week to go in the month. His Double-A debut? 4 and 1/3 innings, one earned run. Mets fans by now are well aware of Tong, Sproat, and, of course, Nolan McLean, but the next wave of pitching prospects is still full of talent.

SINGLE-A: ST. LUCIE METS

Hitter of the Month: John Bay

Stats: 15 G, .347/.459/.633/1.092, 3 HR, 1 3B, 3 2B, 6 BB, 18 SO

John Bay is a really cool story. Signed as an undrafted free agent out of Austin Peay State University, Bay was sent right to St. Lucie and instantly started mashing. Bay was one of the best hitters in the ASUN as a redshirt senior in 2025, got his opportunity with the Mets, and has made the most of it. He’s even already been promoted to High-A Brooklyn and will be an important part of their upcoming playoff lineup.

Pitcher of the Month: Jonathan Jimenez

Stats: 5 G (4 GS), 17.1 IP, 15 H, 3 ER, 9 BB, 16 SO, 1.56 ERA, 1.38 WHIP

Jonathan Jimenez, a 21-year-old righty, had a really good month for St. Lucie. He had a good 12 starts in the Florida Complex League to begin his year, and was promoted to Single-A when the Complex League Season ended in late July. He walked a bit of a tightrope in August, but ultimately succeeded in what matters: keeping runs off the board.

Mike Puma of the New York Post reported before the game that Tong has, “entered the conversation,” for a potential 2025 call-up.

Williams finally snapped an 18 at-bat hit drought with a knock, although he swung at the first pitch in three of his five trips. He also opened the bottom of the first with a 100 mph line out to third.

Additionally, the Mets’ newly signed catcher, Sánchez, added a two-run double in the sixth for insurance, while Young turned in a three-hit day that included a double off the bat at 106.7 mph.

RHP Jonah Tong: 6 IP, 5 H, 0 ER, 1 BB, 8 K (0.00 ERA)

It was once again the Tong show in Syracuse. The right-handed pitcher dominated through six innings, piling up 21 swings and misses with 63 of his 88 pitches going for strikes. His fastball topped out at 97.6 mph.

Flamethrowing reliever Dylan Ross followed with two scoreless frames. Both Tong and Ross are making their cases to push for a call-up to the big leagues.

It was a rough day offensively for Binghamton, who squandered multiple chances with runners in scoring position. They loaded the bases with two outs in the first before Kevin Parada struck out on three pitches. Parada later battled through a seven-pitch at-bat in the fifth with men on second and third but came up empty again.

One of the lone bright spots was third baseman Jacob Reimer, who posted another multi-hit effort. He’s now batting .283 with a .880 OPS and six extra-base hits in August.

The Rumble Ponies’ pitching staff had a rough day on Saturday. Starter Cameron Girton exited after just 2/3 of an inning with an apparent injury (per the team’s website) and bulk reliever Daniel Juarez struggled in relief.

The former first-round pick in Houck had a fantastic day at the plate, lining a single to center in the fourth and grinding out a nine-pitch at-bat in the fifth. Outside of Houck, however, Brooklyn’s offense struggled.

Three players struck out at least three times, including slugger Trace Willhoite, who had a golden sombrero.

Watson extended his scoreless streak to 14 innings on Saturday, allowing just one hit over six strong frames. The Cyclones looked to have a solid 3-0 lead, but lefty Ryan Ammons struggled in relief, giving up four earned runs in just 2/3 of an inning, including two walks.

Overall, the Cyclones combined for five straight walks in the eighth between Ammons and Hodges.

The Mets’ 2025 first-round pick continued his struggles on Saturday. Pitchers have been attacking him with low breaking balls and sky-high heaters, and he hasn’t made the necessary adjustments yet. He also committed an error in the field.

The Syracuse pitching staff performed well all night, allowing only one unearned run – unfortunately, the offense couldn’t get anything going to support them. Tidwell has been solid since returning from the big-league club, tossing 12.2 innings and allowing just three runs over that span.

Triple-A: Syracuse Mets

Hitter of the Month: Yonny Hernández

Stats: 21 G, .458/.549/.593/1.142, 2 3B, 4 2B, 12 R, 9 RBI, 11 BB, 6 SO

Yonny Hernández is far from a household name. The 27-year-old journeyman infielder signed a minor league deal with the Mets this offseason, his sixth organization since originally signing with the Texas Rangers in 2014. Hernández has played 69 MLB games in parts of three seasons, first with the Rangers in 2021, then with the Arizona Diamondbacks in 2022 and the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2023. He spent the first half of 2024 in Triple-A for the Milwaukee Brewers before he was released at the end of July.

Hernández played 17 games for the Double-A Binghamton Rumble Ponies this season before moving back up to Triple-A, and in June, he took off. He’s not a power hitter—his 11 home runs in 763 career minor league games are proof enough—but he doesn’t strike out much, can draw some walks, and can play second base, third base and shortstop. It’s probably a long shot he makes the big league roster at any point this season, but if the Mets decide they want to get some of the younger infielders (most likely Ronny Mauricio) more regular playing time, Hernández is a candidate to fill a bench role.

Pitcher of the Month: Nolan McLean

Stats: 5 G (5 GS), 26.1 IP, 16 H, 10 R (9 ER), 23 SO, 12 BB, 3.08 ERA, 1.06 WHIP

Nolan McLean is a bona fide top prospect, and he’s emerging as one of the most exciting pitching prospects in all of baseball. His sweeper is elite, and he has a well-rounded arsenal around it that has a real chance to play in the big leagues. June was simply more of what he’s been doing all season: turning in good outing after good outing. He was far from perfect. McLean walked at least two batters in all five games, he never struck out more than six, and he never turned in a scoreless game. However, he also never gave up more than two earned runs and averaged over five innings per game.

The most interesting thing about McLean is that he really hasn’t been a full-time pitcher for that long. This is the first full season where he’s no longer hitting. It’s very possible he’s only scratching the surface of what he can do on the mound. It wasn’t the best month anyone’s ever seen, but it was a good one, and it’s hard to imagine he doesn’t pitch in the big leagues at some point in 2025.

He’s not there yet, and he’s not even playing too much second base right now, but if he keeps playing the way he is, he will be. Jeff McNeil will likely be a free agent after 2026, and Williams is the natural successor. Even if Williams comes up in 2026 (or, to get really crazy, in September 2025), McNeil’s versatility allows Williams to get his fair share of reps at second base. He has an elite approach, good bat-to-ball skills and more power than expected for someone who is 5-foot-7. He is the Mets’ best hitting prospect and probably the top prospect in the organization.

Williams was the best Rumble Pony in June, but everyone knows what he’s capable of already. It was a really great month for many players on that roster who deserve their flowers. Kevin Parada (yes, really) hit .328 with a .977 OPS. Ryan Clifford hit another five home runs and a .871 OPS. Nick Morabito hit .322 with a .846 OPS and 10 doubles. It’s a loaded lineup right now in Binghamton, and that doesn’t even include the recently promoted Carson Benge and Jacob Reimer. The next wave of Mets hitting prospects is really, really good, and closer than some might think.

Pitcher of the Month: Jonah Tong

Stats: 5 G (5 GS), 29 IP, 11 H, 3 R (3 ER), 43 SO, 9 BB, 0.93 ERA, 0.69 WHIP

It’s Jonah Tong—again—both here at MMO, and officially with him winning his second-straight Eastern League Pitcher of the Month. He is ridiculous. Even the walks, which have been his biggest bugaboo, have come down. His walk rate is down to 11.4% on the season, but it was just 8.4% in June. Couple that with a strikeout rate over 40%, and you have hands down maybe the most dominant pitcher in the entire minor leagues.

At this point, it’s confusing why Tong is still in Double-A. He has nothing left to prove at this level. It’s time to see what he can do at Triple-A. Or, if the Mets want to get really bold, in the big leagues. Pitchers can go straight from Double-A to the big leagues—the Mets did it with Jonathan Pintaro this month. The biggest question is if his primarily north-to-south arsenal will play as well vs more experienced hitters, but his new Vulcan change gives him a potential game-changing offering if it sticks. And, the only way to find out is by trial and error. It’s time.

High-A: Brooklyn Cyclones

Hitter of the Month: Chris Suero

Stats: 23 G, .299/.421/.519/.940, 4 HR, 1 3B, 3 2B, 17 R, 17 RBI, 14 BB, 24 SO

Chris Suero is a really interesting prospect. This season, he has played 43 games at catcher, 13 games in left field and 11 games at first base. His versatility as a catcher who can also play in the infield and outfield provides serious value. He’s a legitimate plus runner, which is rare for a catcher, and isn’t afraid to use it on the basepaths. Oh, and he can hit. He has power and can draw his walks, and while his strikeout rate probably needs to come down a bit, it’s not at an alarming level.

A year ago, Suero was more of a good story. Now, he’s a legitimate top prospect in this organization, and he’s flown past some of the other catching prospects who were top draft picks or signed big deals as international free agents. Learn the name.

Pitcher of the Month: Brendan Girton

Stats: 5 G (3 GS), 20.1 IP, 9 H, 6 R (5 ER), 23 SO, 4 BB, 2.21 ERA, 0.64 WHIP

This was probably the hardest one to pick, but ultimately, it goes to Brendan Girton for the second straight month. What set him apart from the rest was the WHIP—Girton allowed 14 baserunners to reach all month. Nine hits. Four walks. One hit by a pitch. He might not have had the lowest ERA of the bunch, but he was arguably the most dominant.

That said, the entire staff shoved. The Brooklyn Cyclones had seven pitchers throw at least 15 innings in June. The highest ERA among them was 2.49. That’s a level of dominance from a staff that’s almost unheard of. The other six besides Girton:

Single-A: St. Lucie Mets

Hitter of the Month: Colin Houck

Stats: 16 G, .317/.411/.524/.935, 2 HR, 1 3B, 5 2B, 12 R, 10 RBI, 10 BB, 22 SO

Former first-round pick turned struggling minor leaguer Kevin Parada nearly took home Hitter of the Month honors in Double-A, and while he fell just a little short, fellow struggling former first-round pick Colin Houck wins it in Single-A. After a dreadful first full season in the minor leagues in 2024 that saw Houck hit just .206 with a .610 OPS in 112 games at Single-A, he returned to the level to start 2025. Initially, it was more of the same, hitting under the Mendoza line in April, but he turned a corner in May and fully figured things out in June.

The next step is High-A, which Houck was promoted to on June 23. He’s had a mixed start, and the strikeout woes are still very much an issue, but he also has a handful of extra-base hits. Houck still has a long way to go before he recaptures some of the prospect shine that he had coming out of the 2023 MLB Draft, but this is a positive step in the right direction.

Pitcher of the Month: Wellington Aracena

Stats: 5 G (2 GS), 24 IP, 8 H, 4 R (3 ER), 29 SO, 11 BB, 1.13 ERA, 0.79 WHIP

Wellington Aracena might be the next true breakout pitching prospect in the Mets system. The 20-year-old right-hander was absolutely dealing in June, and it was really just an extension of what has been a true standout season. In 55 2/3 innings, Aracena has a 2.75 ERA, 1.19 WHIP and 73 strikeouts. Like many young pitchers, he can struggle with walks, but there’s plenty of time to try and iron that out.

As of now, he leans heavily on his 4-seam fastball and his cutter, but his slider and curveball have shown serious promise. He’s raw. Most young pitchers are. But the Mets have a flamethrower in Single-A who, with the right development, could turn into a serious, serious prospect.

Florida Complex League: FCL Mets

Hitter of the Month: Haniel German

Stats: 16 G, .286/.367/.381/.748, 4 2B, 5 R, 5 RBI, 4 BB, 17 SO

It wasn’t a great month for the Florida Complex League Mets hitters. Haniel German takes the top spot with the highest OPS of the bunch, and he’s the only Mets hitter with at least 10 games played to post a batting average above .225.

A 19-year-old outfielder, German had a solid showing in the Dominican Summer League in 2024, hitting .269 with a .751 OPS. He struggled in his first month of 2025, but turned it around in June. He wasn’t outstanding, but he was good, and good was good enough to be the top dog in the FCL Mets’ June offense.

Pitcher of the Month: Jonathan Jimenez

Stats: 4 G (2 GS), 13 IP, 8 H, 6 R (4 ER), 15 SO, 6 BB, 2.77 ERA, 1.08 WHIP

Where the offense struggled, the pitching shone. Jonathan Jimenez, a 21-year-old right-handed pitcher, was one of four Mets arms to throw double-digit innings, and while he didn’t have the best ERA of the bunch, he was the most effective in keeping runners off the bases.

Jimenez was just one of many pitchers to have strong Junes. Jace Hampson, Omar Victorino, Joel Lara, Nicolas Carreno, Jermayne Verdu, Yuhi Sako, Gregori Louis and others all impressed, but Jimenez’s combination of sample size and success earned him top marks.

Dominican Summer League: DSL Mets

Hitter of the Month: Yunior Amparo

Stats: 16 G, .432/.532/.784/1.316, 3 HR, 1 3B, 2 2B, 15 R, 10 RBI, 7 BB, 5 SO

Dominican Summer League play began in June, and the DSL Mets had a handful of standout players. All eyes are naturally on Elian Peña, but his 0-for-26 start cost him big time here. Instead, it goes to Yunior Amparo, who slugged three home runs along with three other extra-base hits in June.

Amparo has the second-highest slugging percentage and OPS among all DSL players with at least 50 plate appearances this season. He’s not striking out much, walking some, making a ton of contact and hammering the ball when he does. He’s someone to monitor as the season progresses.

Pitcher of the Month: Osiris Calvo

Stats: 5 G (3 GS), 19.2 IP, 10 H, 4 R (2 ER), 26 SO, 4 BB, 0.92 ERA, 0.71 WHIP

It’s not often there’s a pitcher in the Dominican Summer League who really stands out, but Osiris Calvo is doing just that. He dominated hitters. He’s 21 years old—old for a pitcher in the DSL—so he’s probably too old for the level, but he also missed all of 2024 due to injury. You can only play who’s in front of you, and Calvo is dominating who’s in front of him.

Calvo has the second-best ERA among all qualified pitchers in the DSL, the best FIP, the second-best batting average against, the second-best swinging strike percentage, the second-best strikeout rate and the seventh-best walk rate. He’s been one of the best pitchers at the level, and easily the best pitcher on the Mets. He will probably head stateside at some point this season.

Congratulations are in order for Mets 2024 first-round pick Carson Benge, who received a promotion to Double-A Binghamton following a sustained stretch of great play since the beginning of the season. Joining Benge in earning a promotion are Jacob Reimer, who will go with Benge to Binghamton, and Colin Houck, whose spectacular recent play earned him a promotion to High-A Brooklyn. Relievers Luis Moreno and Alex Carillo are headed to Triple-A and reliever Brian Metoyer will be added to the Binghamton roster.

Triple-A

The Syracuse Mets lost their third straight series this past week, dropping four of six games against the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp. It’s been a first half of the season to forget for Syracuse, who is 31-44 and seventh out of 10 teams in the International League East division.

Luke Ritter had a fantastic week at the plate, tying for the team lead with six hits. Ritter recorded two doubles and a home run, two RBIs, and three runs. Despite owning a .730 OPS for the season, Ritter has swung to an .879 OPS over his last 29 games.

Gilberto Celestino and Yonny Hernández also looked good, demonstrating strong plate discipline. Celestino went 5-for-14 while Hernández went 6-for-12, and each drew five walks while striking out just twice. Celestino has batted to a .758 OPS this year, and Hernández has an .807 OPS with Syracuse despite a poor start to the year in Binghamton.

Sean Manaea had a strong rehab appearance for Syracuse, allowing a run over 5 1/3 innings. He allowed just two hits, no walks, and struck out seven. Manaea has looked bumpy in two of his rehab appearances but great in the other two, and he’ll undoubtedly be a giant piece of the Mets’ rotation down the stretch.

Brandon Waddell made two appearances including one start against Jacksonville. In his first appearance of the week, Waddell allowed one run and struck out five over 2 2/3 innings. In his start, Waddell tossed 4 2/3 scoreless innings, striking out four. Waddell has been solid whenever pitching for Syracuse, owning a 3.27 ERA in 11 appearances.

The Binghamton Rumble Ponies split their six-game series with the Harrisburg Senators in a very even series that saw them score 28 runs and give up 29. The Rumble Ponies hold a 10-game lead in the Eastern League Northeast division at 45-22.

Nick Morabito had a stellar week as he continues to improve upon his rough start to the year. Morabito went 10-for-23 with three doubles, seven RBIs, three walks, five stolen bases, and five runs scored. Morabito has recorded a .928 OPS in his last 36 games to bring his season OPS up to .804.

Jett Williams also had a good week, despite cooling down a bit. He still went 7-for-22 with two doubles, six walks, and three stolen bases. He also led the team with seven runs scored. Williams’ OPS for the year is now .921.

Kevin Parada had another solid series, going 6-for-19 with a double and two RBIs. He dealt with some strikeouts though, tallying 11 over his five games played. Still, Parada improved his OPS which now sits at .717.

Jonah Tong put together a routine start of 7 2/3 innings, no runs allowed, and 11 strikeouts against the Senators. And yes, that kind of start has been routine for Tong this year. He allowed just two hits and a walk and lowered his ERA on the year to 1.75. Tong continues to prove himself as not only one of the best pitchers in the Mets’ system, but in all of the minor leagues.

Orellana made two appearances, allowing one hit and striking out five. Foster threw his scoreless innings in just one outing, and it was perfect as he did not allow a baserunner and struck out four batters. Orellana has a 1.93 ERA in 21 appearances, while Foster has a 1.53 ERA in 13 appearances with Binghamton.

Suero also tied for the team lead with five runs scored. Suero has mostly cooled down after a rollicking first few weeks of the season, but he has his OPS back up to .858. Suero was named the South Atlantic League Player of the Week.

Carson Benge and Eli Serrano, a pair of top draft picks in 2024, also had great weeks. Benge owns a .897 OPS while Serrano owns an even .800 OPS.

Hall walked six batters, a concerning number over seven innings, but he didn’t allow any of his baserunners to score. Hall has been excellent this year, owning a 2.27 ERA in 14 games.

Jonathan Santucci made two starts and pitched excellently in each one. He threw a total of 10 innings, allowing two runs on five hits, two walks, and 11 strikeouts. Santucci has completely turned his season around, owning a 1.03 ERA over his last seven games after recording an 8.14 ERA over his first six. Overall, his ERA sits at 3.70.

Colin Houck had another really good week on his way to earning his promotion to High-A Brooklyn. Houck went 6-for-20 with three doubles, five walks, two stolen bases, and six runs. He ends his time in St. Lucie with an .812 OPS, including an .890 OPS over his last 40 games.

His only baserunners allowed were on two walks. Aracena has shined for St. Lucie’s pitching staff this year as he owns a 2.87 ERA in 13 games. He was named the Florida State League Pitcher of the Week.

The 20-year-old, who signed with the Mets in 2022, owns an .838 OPS in 30 games.

He didn’t have a fantastic week, but he went 4-for-16 with two doubles, five walks, and two stolen bases. Despite hitting a home run in a game two weeks ago, it is not yet attributed to his stats due to that game being suspended and continued at a later date. As of now, he has a .432 OPS through 15 games.

Players of the Week

Offense – Chris Suero, C/1B/LF Brooklyn

Chris Suero got off to such a hot start to begin the year, recording a 1.334 OPS in his first 10 games and a .936 OPS in his first 23 games. He then had a stretch of 30 games prior to this previous series where he had a .679 OPS, cooling down a bit but he appears to have heated up again. Suero recorded just a .703 OPS in Brooklyn and a .730 OPS overall a year ago, so the improvement has been drastic.

Pitching – Jonah Tong, P Binghamton

Jonah Tong is at a point where it’s a surprise if he doesn’t completely dominate his opponent. It’s become a weekly occurrence to see him put up double-digit strikeouts with few baserunners or runs allowed. The righty has made it look extremely easy in Binghamton, and it’s possible a promotion to Syracuse is not too far away.

Lower on the farm, Colin Houck is being called up to High-A Brooklyn. After the 20-year old had a walk-off walk for the Single-A St. Lucie Mets on Sunday, St. Lucie announced he had also been promoted.
