Saw this scrolling through instagram this morning: Bob Gibson in June/July 1968, 12-0, 12 complete games, 8 shutouts, 6 runs allowed. Wild. Really wish we could have seen Jake’s final line for a complete season in 2021. It wouldn’t compare with all those complete games and innings pitched, but it still looks like a video game. 146 ks and 11 BBs in 92 innings with a .55 whip and 1.08 ERA. That was as good as I’ve seen someone pitch since Pedro at his peak cutting down guys in the steroid era.

In reply to Witz. I did feel that way at that time. Since then, I have grown and matured and have developed more empathy and understanding of others. I have not been able to accept and understand those that have no empathy or acceptance and I'm having a hard time with that right now.
