Good morning, Mets fans!

The Mets announced on Tuesday that Jacob deGrom felt some mild muscle soreness around his shoulder on Sunday. Out of “an abundance of caution,” he played catch Monday and Tuesday and is now expected to throw in a simulated game Thursday instead of Tuesday.

Per Anthony DiComo of MLB.com, the Mets said Jacob deGrom experienced slight mild muscle soreness around the shoulder on Sunday. Instead of throwing a simulated game Tuesday in Port St. Lucie, deGrom played catch Monday and Tuesday and is now expected to throw in a simulated game Thursday.
