After Worcester tied the game in the fourth Francisco Alvarez put Syracuse back in front with an RBI double in the sixth. Alvarez would later score on a Nick Plummer single.

The Red Sox would tie the game again at four to force extra innings before the Mets scored twice in the tenth, including a pinch-hit RBI single from Mark Vientos, en route to the one-run victory.

The 22-year-old infielder is 7-for-23 in that span.

Ramirez would finish the night 4-for-5 with five RBIs while falling a triple shy of the cycle — he’d also add a stolen base for good measure. After a slow start in Brooklyn, Ramirez is now 8-for-12 in his last three contests.

JT Schwartz also had two hits, including his fourth triple of the year, and drove in a pair of runs.

Carson Seymour allowed three runs on just three hits (all solo home runs) while striking out 10 in six innings to earn his first victory in Brooklyn.
