The 45-win Mets are likely to be well-represented in the All-Star game next month in Los Angeles.

On Tuesday morning, Major League Baseball released the first ballot returns from its fan voting process. While most of the All-Stars–pitchers and reserve players–will ultimately be voted in by a combination of the players and the Commissioner’s Office, the current ballot results are a good indication of who may be in the starting lineups on July 19 at Dodger Stadium.

Pete Alonso leads all current Met players with 602,321 votes. This ranks second among NL first baseman, behind Paul Goldschmidt of the Cardinals (930,441 votes).

Here is how Alonso and his teammates stack up within their respective positions.

MLB All-Star voting is currently in Phase 1. Once this phase is complete on June 30, the voting will move onto Phase 2, where only the top two players from each position (top four for the outfielders) will advance to the next round. At that point, voting totals will reset and then the starters will be voted upon from that final pool of players. Phase 2 lasts from July 5 to July 8.

Based on current numbers, the only Met players to advance onto Phase 2 would be Alonso and Marte.

Last season, Jacob deGrom and Taijuan Walker were named the Mets two All-Star representatives. DeGrom did not play as he was injured at the time of the game. Walker allowed a solo home run to Mike Zunino while pitching the sixth inning of the game, striking out one batter in the frame as well.

Max Scherzer started the game for the National League, although he was, of course, a member of the Washington Nationals at the time. He pitched a perfect first inning, striking out Xander Bogaerts to end the frame.

Note: The Mets will be looking to match or break their club record of six All-Stars in one season. In 2006, the Mets sent the following players to the All-Star Game in Pittsburgh: Carlos Beltran, Tom Glavine, Pedro Martinez, Mike Piazza, Jose Reyes, and David Wright.
