Wright, Reyes Slated to Play Alongside Each Other On Saturday

Prior to Tuesday night’s bout with the Atlanta Braves, Mets’ manager Mickey Callaway announced that shortstop Jose Reyes would start alongside third baseman David Wright this Saturday, Sept. 29.

The last time the two shared a field together was nearly seven years ago to the date: Sept. 28, 2011.

It’ll likely be Wright’s last game as Met, but also could be Jose Reyes’ as he is a free agent at year’s end.
