Cabrera Not In Lineup After Leaving Game Early Last Night

Asdrubal Cabrera is not in tonight’s lineup against the Philadelphia Phillies despite Mickey Callaway‘s remarks yesterday saying he would be. No reasoning has been provided yet, but we will be sure to update if something is announced regarding the matter that differs from the previous report of his re-aggravated hyperextended elbow.

Asdrubal Cabrera left tonight’s game against the Philadelphia Phillies with a re-aggravation of his previously hyperextended elbow in the seventh inning.

However, Mickey Callaway announced after the game that the infielder is okay and should be able to play tomorrow night.

Dominic Smith replaced the infielder as Wilmer Flores shifted from first to second base.

The 32-year old is hitting .280/.326/.485 with 16 home runs and 51 RBI this season.
