Logan Barer of MMO has reported that New York Mets prospects Peter Alonso and Jeff McNeil have both been promoted from the Double-A Binghamton Rumble Ponies to the Triple-A Las Vegas 51s.

Alonso, 23, is hitting .314/.440/.573 with 12 doubles, 15 homers, 52 RBI and his 1.012 OPS ranks third in the Eastern League. The first baseman was recently ranked by Baseball America as the No. 81 prospect.

McNeil, 26, slashed .327/.402/.626 with 16 doubles, three triples and a career-high 14 homers in 57 games for Binghamton. He also struck out only 23 times compared to 22 walks. His 1.029 OPS ranked second in the EL.

The left-handed hitting McNeil has played second base, third base and shortstop this year.
